Project 1: The Restoration of Cusworth Hall Park, Doncaster
	Cusworth today is a legacy of the designs of Richard Wood, who designed and oversaw the construction of the estate between 1760-1766 on behalf of the owner John Battie-Wrightson. Following a successful Stage 1 Heritage Lottery Fund Application, BHWB were commissioned to provide project management and landscape architectural services to Doncaster MBC to assist the preparation of a Stage 2 Application under the Urban Parks Programme.
	Restoration Proposals:
	Repair and reinstatement of a system of three lakes and construction of borehole water supply Reconstruction of a cascade and rock arch Woodland and tree management Establishment of National Plant Collection Refurbishment of ornamental shrub borders Footpath repair and resurfacing Re-design of car-parking and visitor circulation patterns Play areas	Lighting and CCTV Wildflower meadow Refurbishment of walled gardens Design of bespoke range of site furniture and historical interpretive material Design of nature and ecology trails Drainage and other servicing works Contemporary artwork
	Scope of Services:
	Project Management •Coordination of the design team and specialist inputs including cpnservation architecture, structural engineering, hydrology, ecology, forestry and arboriculture. •Liaison with client, project working group, English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund. •Participation in Risk Management workshops, developing funding strategies, cost and programme planning
	Conservation Architecture and Landscape Design •Leading design roles in preparing costed sketch scheme proposals. •Surveys and Graphics including presentation material and photomontages.
	Landscape Management •Preparation of an Outline Management Plan to support HLF Bid.
