- CDM 2007 update: Thursday 17 January 2008, 1.30pm – 5.00pm, buffet available from 1.00pm
Venue: Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds Presented by: Colin Moore MLI
The new CDM (2007) Regulations came into force on 6 April 2007. The revision of the Regulations is a result of concerns that the underlying health and safety objectives of the 1994 CDM Regulations were being lost due to the complexity of the Regulations and an over emphasis on bureaucratic processes and paperwork by many duty holders. This course is specifically designed for Landscape Professionals. It explains the differences between the 1994 and 2007 Regulations and the duties of all duty holders under the Regulations, with particular emphasis on clients, designers and CDM Co-ordinators. It also includes the information and documents which need to be produced as well as a general introduction to health and safety in the construction industry and relevant to landscape professionals.
